C-FUN Good Guys and Carole at the White Spot

This fantasy montage brings back memories of good times at the White Spot at 68th and Granville in Vancouver. The characters in the painting were all active C-FUN Good Guys with the exception of the young thing behind me leaning on the car. That is my wife of 45 years, Carole. I wish to thank Alyn Edwards for sending this via email and a special thanks to one of my favorite artists, Bruce Stewart.

When Bruce had his exhibition at SFU a few years back I plugged the hell out of it because you have to see the real paintings to understand how, through his talent, he has captured the Fifties and Sixties era like no other. I wanted to be an illustrator myself and took art lessons but became sidetracked with radio and never pursued it any further. It is because of this experience I can appreciate the work that goes into one of these fabulous renderings. Keep up the good work, Bruce!
