Paul Evans Honored

Paul Evans had a series of major hits in the early Sixties: After The Hurricane, Seven Little Girls Sitting In The Back Seat, and Hushabye Little Guitar to name a few. He also wrote hits for others. The beautiful new Woodstock Museum at Bethel Woods has just opened in Bethel, NY on the site where the Woodstock Festival was held. One of the exhibits is a showcase of eight 45s from the early 60s. Two songs Paul wrote are represented in the exhibit: I Gotta Know by Elvis Presley and Roses Are Red (My Love) by Bobby Vinton. Here’s a closeup:

We send our congratulations to Paul on this historic occasion.
