Joe Esposito died yesterday at 78. Joe and I were good friends. He was a generous man and I could see why Elvis relied on him. He had common sense and was very smart. Joe appeared at the PNE every time we had an Elvis salute and he was a guest of honor at the opening of the former Red Robinson Show Theatre. Joe was a gracious man who stayed with us many times, and when I was in Las Vegas I would always visit him. He moved to Los Angeles where he passed away this week. There will be a tribute to this special man in January. God bless you, Joe… you were the best. We will all miss you and that giant smile.
