Blondie at The “Red”

What a treat meeting Deborah Harry and Blondie at the Red Robinson Show Theatre. Deborah took the band on a tour of the theatre during the afternoon rehearsal and all said they couldn’t believe the memorabilia I had collected. The show was amazing and her voice is as rich as ever.

Blondie was one of the first to present punk and alternative music in the Seventies. They have moved on and continue to perform over 120 days a year around the world. Blondie disbanded in 1982 and reunited in 1999. They did not disappoint, performing great hits like Heart of Glass and Call Me to the delight of the sold out crowd. It was a hot summer night and I decided to wear one of my many Elvis shirts. Debbie asked if I would consider selling it. She was a very personable lady to meet.
