Carole and I went to see Burton Cummings at the River Rock Show Theatre. I had the pleasure of introducing Burton from the stage. This Canadian icon will soon get a star on the Canada Walk of Fame in Toronto this year. Word leaked out as it has not been officially announced. Burton is in the Juno Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and has the Order of Canada. In addition Burton has a theatre named for him in Winnipeg. Great honors for a great Canadian.
