Chicago played to SRO crowds at both the Red Robinson and River Rock Show Theatres.  Founder and keyboardist/singer Robert Lamm agreed to an interview. He told me the band has sold 100 million records and has had a top album on the charts for five decades. Another interesting fact: 25 of Chicago’s 35 albums are platinum.

We talked about a  tour with Earth, Wind and Fire a few years ago and I wondered if they would do that again. Robert assured me they would. I asked Robert if he knew my friend from the Windy City, Dick Biondi. He said yes and told me he is still going  strong.

The horn section is outstanding as usual. So many people tried to get tickets for Chicago but the two shows had been sold out months in advance. Next time buy early!
