Red, I was at the Beatles concert back in the day. I did not really know who this group was, but my Mom entered the CKNW contest to win tickets. The contest was for a pair of tickets to the show to the person with the longest hair. My mom submitted a strand of my sister’s hair and this was the winning entry. As my sister was only 7 years old, she couldn’t attend and I went with a girlfriend. I was awestruck at the power of Beatlemania and witnessed many screaming fans.

To this day my sister has never forgiven me for going to the concert on “her hair”. I am enclosing a picture of her to show you why hers was the winning entry:

I had hoped to send this to you sooner, but I have been busy.  I thought it was a bit of trivia you could use in the 45th anniversary of the concert.
