Another C-FUN Good Guy has passed. Jerry Landa (above right, with the late Tom Peacock on the left) was the all night man for years on both C-FUN and CJOR. He was great friends with Monty McFarlane as they met with the shift turnover at CJOR each morning. Jerry had one of the most positive personalities you will ever encounter. Just a few days ago we reported on the death of another CFUN Good Guy, Brian Lord.  Too many have passed lately. Jerry leaves a legacy of being part of one of the major changes in Vancouver radio when CFUN went to 24 hour rock and roll. Last year I visited both Dave Abbott and Jerry at St.Paul’s Hospital. Both suffered from COPD but neither could be heard complaining. Now both are gone. Farewell friends.
