Peter Noone At The “Red”

red1073

Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits fame came to the Red Robinson Show Theatre and brought good cheer, great music and great humour, making fun of Coquitlam and many other local things. He is the consummate performer. Greeting Peter was old friend and original Hermits manager… the one and only Andrew Oldham. He was also responsible for helping the Rolling Stones at the beginning of their careers. Andrew lives part-time in Vancouver but mostly in Colombia.

Also attending the concert from Seattle was Art Sanders, Senior Editor of KOMO News Radio in Seattle. He and his wife enjoyed the show and are huge Peter Noone fans. Just prior to the show I asked Peter if he is still in contact with Tom Moffatt in Honolulu. He said he was and that Tom still does a weekly show on the air in the 50th state and continues his concert booking business. The reason I asked is because Tom was a close friend of Elvis and The Colonel. Tom sent me the interview on the beach with Peter and Elvis on the set of Paradise Hawaiian Style. It is always great to meet up with great friends. Come back soon Peter.
