Remember Ian Whitcomb?

Dear Red, I’ve been wanting to get the song (and I’m not sure of the title) called ‘That’s My Song’ perhaps. It’s from the 60s (British Invasion?).  It says…” come on now baby, you know you really turn me on…and when and when you do, {passionate pants} heh, heh, heh that’s my song.”

Jianni Fletcher

Jianni, this song was titled You Turn Me On with Ian WhitcombIt came out originally on a Seattle label as Ian was attending the University of Washington at the time (1965). Much more on Ian Whitcomb here.

Jerry Dennon writes:

“Red, need to correct you on the Ian Whitcomb item. He was a citizen of the UK… went to school at Trinity College in Dublin, not the University of Washington. I spent a lot of time with his mother and family in London in 1965. I also spent 3 weeks in Dublin in February of 1965 recording an album that resulted in the single You Turn Me On.”
