Steven Wright at The “Red”

I have always admired Steven Wright. His humor is aimed at himself and his own foibles, but he presents his stories in an interesting and philosophical manner. The British refer to it as dry humour. It is like a dry martini, refreshing yet with a tiny bite to make it interesting. He came to the Red Robinson Show Theatre to perform for a sell-out crowd and they showed their appreciation.

I took my daughter Kellie to the show and she was present for this photo at the “meet and greet” after his performance. Kellie lived for a while in the Boston suburb of Arlington, and Steven knew the area well. He told Kellie he lived in Burlington, another Beantown suburb. I love his quick mind, with items such as “How do you know when you have run out of invisible ink?”
