Trailer Park Boys At The “Red”, Michael Bublé Home For The Holidays

The Trailer Park Boys set up their RV’s at the Red Robinson Show Theatre and wowed the crowd on hand. It was a total sell out and every audience member was in on the act. Before the show I was sitting in “Red” stage manager Steve Stenner’s office and my phone rang.  It was Michael Bublé, asking me if I would do the voice over for his NBC TV special. Naturally I was thrilled. Michael was in New York and working on an electronically created duet with the late Bing Crosby. I told him I would be bringing on the Trailer Park Boys in 10 minutes. Michael asked me to say hi to the group. He also told me he had a photo taken with “Bubbles” wearing his Coca-Cola prescription glasses. What a scene… Bublé and Bubbles together!

It was a special night and I passed on Michael’s greeting to Mike “Bubbles” Smith. Thanks to all who sent emails regarding my voice appearance on Michael’s outstanding TV special Home For The Holidays.

On a sadder note, Don Hamilton has passed away. He was General Manager at CKLG for many years and an important part of the Progressive Conservative party in the Sixties and Seventies. His son Russ informed me of his dad’s passing.
