West Fine Art Show Returns

I have always been a frustrated illustrator, it was a choice I made while attending high school. However the opportunity to perform on radio came up and I abandoned my artistic career. In the last couple of years I have become friends with two very talented artists, Brian Croft and Murray Phillips. They inspired me to take up art again as a hobby.

Meanwhile the two and others have created a showcase of their outstanding works. I urge you to take time and see some highly original and highly regarded art work at their annual show. Forget purchasing some of those “paint by number” art pieces to decorate your home or office. For a few dollars more than those store bought copies you can have the real thing.

West Fine Art Show September 5-7 – Free!
Thunderbird Show Park, 24550 – 72 Avenue, Langley

The show is generously hosted by the Tidball family. Take exit 66 to 72nd Avenue eastbound. Access to the show is via the 248 Street entrance.

This year’s show will feature more than twenty artists, including some of the top selling artists at the Calgary Stampede Western Art Show, one of the strongest western art shows in North America. I’ll be there along with Shell Busey. Partial proceeds from art sales will be donated to the Langley Hospice Society.
