Alternative radio pioneer David Marsden will be honored with a Canadian Music Hall Of Fame Award during Music Week as part of the week-long Juno Awards celebration. David was known as Dave Mickey when he appeared on Music Hop with the CBC.  He had many roles in Toronto and Vancouver radio. David and I met up at the 1997 get together at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when Radio & Records magazine honored pioneer deejays. Only three Canadians are honored at the Rock Hall: David, myself and the late Jungle Jay Nelson.
