C.H.I.L.D. Foundation Golf Tournament

On Monday September 21 the C.H.I.L.D. Foundation held its second annual golf tournament to raise funds for research into intestinal diseases. Grace McCarthy began the foundation years ago when her granddaughter was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. I joined due to my son Jeffrey’s affliction with Crohn’s. The disease eventually took his life at 33 years of age.

It was my pleasure to act as emcee for the event for the second year. They couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day, not too hot,  with a nice breeze blowing.  Morgan Creek has been the host course both years.

On hand were many friends of C.H.I.L.D. including Martin Zlotnik and (below) Senator Ed Lawson and his wife Beverly:

Thanks to all participants for your help in raising money!
