Dwight Yoakam appeared at the Red Robinson Show Theatre in recent weeks. Dwight had been here a year before but played the River Rock. This was his first visit to my theatre. We talked backstage about Elvis and his concert 50 years ago in Vancouver. He knocked me out by paying tribute to Elvis’ visit to Vancouver and dedicated the song to me.

Dwight told me he is coming off he road for a year and resting. Who can blame him or any artist? The road is a killer. I hope he comes back in a year or so.
