Dal Richards turned 96 on January 5. A party was held in his downtown loft and a few of us came out to salute this inspiration. Among the guests were Jimmy Pattison, broadcaster Dawn Chubai, Bard On The Beach artistic director Christopher Gaze, CBC’s Cecilia Walters and Rick Cluff, gossip guru Joy Metcalfe and a host of others.
