Back in 1960-61, Rolf Harris wrote Vancouver Town, in which he satirized media people such as the late Jack Webster, our sports teams and many other local items. At the PNE he updated the song with new and relative material. He wrote it before the show and was worried that he would forget the new words. I told him “move on when you stumble, people will understand and when they hear the verses they will laugh.” He did, they did.  Rolf said he would like to make this available but ran into the usual legal problems. Oh well, we offer it here:
