Since the halcyon days of the Fifties and Sixties,  rock and roll and hot rods, custom cars and motorcycles have gone together. It was an age of hope and discovery and invention. Radio had actual personalities on the air and the custom cars and hot rods had individual personality. But, this was also true of the machines that came out of Detroit when management took pride in their product.

This video showcases those special days and those incredible automobiles.  In my day you could identify each model due to its original design character.  Today all cars look alike.  From the side I dare you to tell me whether you are looking at a Honda or a BMW.  Flash back with me now and look at this incredible collection of tail fins and chrome.
