I had the pleasure of wearing a Vancouver Canucks jersey for my weekly Global TV appearance. We broadcast live from the Shaw Plaza in downtown Vancouver.  My interview this past week was with the Temptations. As part of my presentation I showed three Kevin Statham photographs of stars wearing Canucks jerseys. Oh, our Jersey Boys are out there vying for the coveted Stanley Cup.  We haven’t had this much excitement in No-Fun City since the Olympics!

While visiting the plaza I encountered old friend Jim Robson, who made a brief appearance prior to mine. Jim joked that at one time he had a badge made up that read “I am not Red Robinson.” It has been an ongoing joke between Jim and me. I get the reverse. People come up to me and ask hockey questions. It is great fun. Jim has been making appearances on CBC as a guest and talking about past Canuck Stanley Cup appearances. He is such a wonderful guy and I might add, very talented.  We have known each other since we worked together back in the late Fifties at CKWX. It is a fun time for all of us.
