This photo with Eddie Cochran  showing me how to hold a guitar was taken backstage at the Georgia Auditorium in October 1957. He was a wonderful warm man with a lot of hits: C’mon Everybody, Somethin’ Else, Twenty Flight Rock and many more.  Eddie was killed in a car crash in England while on tour with Gene Vincent in 1960. A great loss to the music world. If you don’t believe me check with any British rocker and they will agree with me.  One of Eddie’s seminal records, Summertime Blues, also became a hit for The Who.
