Howie Mandel, George Thorogood At The “Red”

Howie Mandel came laughing. He took to the stage at the Red Robinson Show Theatre and took over our lives. I have not seen anyone play an audience like Howie. As a matter of fact all of us became part of his act and it was hilarious. Howie continues as a judge on America’s Got Talent and is now joined by shock jock Howard Stern.

I first remember him playing the role of a doctor on St. Elsewhere. He is a great Canadian talent and has his star on Canada’s Walk of Fame in Toronto. Howie, please come back soon and keep us laughing!

May 19 Carole and I were celebrating her birthday at the “Red”. Some close friends had joined us to celebrate our 49th anniversary at the theatre the night before.

On Carole’s birthday night we were joined by Bruce Allen, his son Quinn and his daughter Claire. We were entertained by George Thorogood and the Destroyers. What a talent and what a great guitar player! Who can forget his monster hit Bad To The Bone? It has been featured in many movies and television  dramas.  All in all a great weekend by George and Howie too.
