Michael Bublé’s Beautiful Day

Here’s Michael Bublé pretending to be Elvis in the Arts Club Theatre presentation of Red Rock Diner in 1996. I wish they would bring that show back. It played all over Canada and into the U.S.

Fast forward to today and Michael’s new CD To Be Loved, produced by the world famous Bob Rock. The album contains some interesting material. Our local boy is doing great worldwide. When I look back I think of the struggles he endured until his talent rose to the top. As Canadians we have a tendency to downplay homegrown talent, but in this case we have to admire his gusto and “never give up” spirit.  He deserves the accolades.
