I was emcee for the 16th annual Newton Community Festival in Surrey. It was a wonderful experience and gave me the opportunity to spend some time with a great group of car collectors.  It was my pleasure to introduce some of the VIP’s. On hand to officially open the event were Mayor Dianne Watts, Surrey councillor Mary Martin, Board of Trade President Nigel Watkinson and MLA Stephanie Cadieux, Minister of Labour, Citizens Services and Open Government. There were so many other interesting things going on including a business expo, and the huge wave pool at the Newton Recreation Centre. A truly family affair. I hope they invite me back next year!
