Wink Martindale just won’t quit and good on him. Like 92 year-old local bandleader Dal Richards, they are both akin to the Energizer Bunny and why not? Quit having a reason to get up each morning and you are dead within 2 years. Wink produced a game show here in Vancouver years back with affable host Wayne Cox. He has a creative mind and this new series does not surprise me. Wink has come to Vancouver at my request a couple of times: the opening of the Red Robinson Show Theatre and the Elvis 50 year celebration at the PNE.  Wink invited me to his star unveiling on the Hollywood Walk of Fame a few years back and we have become good friends. Now if I can just get some network to reprise Meet the Collectors I will be back in style. Nice going Wink.
