Oh, the memories of great days in the past!

Al Jordan was my mentor and one weekend in 1963 Al invited Carole and I to join him, his wife Donna and the kids for a trip up the Sunshine Coast. In the first photo is Al with oldest son Randy, younger son Brook and daughter Laura.

This photo shows the family again but this time Donna (with glasses) and my then-future wife Carole are in the photo.

These were some of the best days of our lives.  Al was one of the finest broadcast voices in North America and kind to everyone who came in contact with him. I miss him a lot and I will never forget the time he took with a young, ambitious kid back in the late Fifties.
