Another busy sold-out weekend at the Red Robinson Show Theatre! Friday night saw Dwight Yoakam on stage singing all his hits and more. The singer-actor told me backstage that he is scheduled to get back in the acting game, this time with Johnny Depp.  The movie is titled The Lone Ranger after the iconic comic book character. Dwight told me that it was one of those on-again, off-again situations but they are ready to take it in front of the cameras this summer.

The next evening was spent with Styx, a wonderful rock and roll band which has charted over 23 hits in Billboard magazine. The band did not disappoint as they weaved through their most famous material. I still love their logo and staging of it in the same manner they do for bigger venues such as Rogers Arena. I might add that the audience that night spent much money on their swag in the lobby. They are a great group of guys and I personally hope they return soon.
